Quick start with TruQu

Congratulations with your own TruQu environment! We have prepared this short onboarding document for you to ensure that your start with TruQu goes as smoothly as possible. After this you can get started effortlessly with our performance management software.

! Note: this TruQu intro is aimed at you as the first user with all rights and possibilities in TruQu !

 

STEP 1: INVITATION AND ACTIVATION

Your environment is ready! You have received an invitation from us in the email to activate your account. It is useful to immediately invite your colleagues to activate and motivate them to accept the invitation and start using TruQu. With multiple people in the area, you can immediately use the software optimally. Some functionalities only work with multiple people. It’s a shame if you miss this opportunity!

 

STEP 2: LOGIN AND NAVIGATE

When you log in to TruQu for the first time, you will be guided through the tool through various onboarding screens. This allows you to set your password immediately, choose a profile photo and set a first goal.

We strongly recommend that you put your profile photo in TruQu. This promotes more and better feedback. This way the receiver or giver recognizes you faster and it becomes easier to share something.

Now you are ready to really get started! In your task list on your dashboard you can see exactly what is needed to set up your own environment. Time to add your colleagues and ask each other for feedback or to compliment them.

 

STEP 3: DIFFERENT ROLES

To go further, it is useful to know that there are three different roles within TruQu, each with its own possibilities:

Admin

The admin is the top-level user. The administrator can create teams, users and templates. The manager also sees data overviews for the entire organization. You are a manager. You therefore have all rights and possibilities within TruQu. You can now add others and grant certain rights.

Team coach

The team coach can manage teams. In practice, these are often managers or managers of certain teams. Once assigned to a team, the team coach can add to this group of users. The team coaches also see group statistics. The team coach can change teams, but cannot add them.

Professional

The professional has all the functionalities to work on his / her own development. Most employees in the organization will have this role. The professional can request feedback about his own performance and give feedback to colleagues.

 

STEP 4: RUNNING THE TOOL

You are now logged in, you have seen your task list and you understand what the different roles entail. TruQu has several features that will help you with your personal development and learning process.

  • Dashboard

On your dashboard you will find an overview of your team, you will see all your messages, your recent activities, your personal feedback link and all your TruQu actions. We have filled your messages with a short introduction video, implementation steps and information about adding templates, users and sending an activation message.

 

  • Goals

With your goals in TruQu you can develop and learn specifically. Receive feedback on your goals, add interim results and focus on the right points. This is possible for the entire organization and each role.

 

  • Ask for feedback

Ask peer-to-peer feedback to colleagues and people without a TruQu account. You can choose to whom you want to ask feedback and in which way (single question or feedback template).

 

  • Give feedback

Provide peer-to-peer feedback to a specific colleague. This can be done by choosing one of the templates generated by you. We have already put some standard templates in your area!

 

  • Compliments

Compliments are nice to give and to get. Here you will find an overview of the last compliments that have been shared with you, but there is also the possibility to compliment someone yourself.

 

  • Reflection

You can write a reflection for yourself or you can organize a reflection as a coach / admin. In this case we look from the admin role to the possibility of organizing a reflection. Here you can ensure that a colleague receives a clear report where all feedback is collected. You choose a colleague who fills in a self-reflection, you select other colleagues to give feedback and you complete this as a coach yourself. You determine the order and composition of the group yourself!

 

  • Admin

Activity

As an admin, you gain insight into the activities of the teams and the entire organization. You can also manage the users from here. Of course, feedback is still visible only when this is shared and will not be shown on this page in terms of content.

The professional only has insight into his / her personal activities here. In addition to personal activities, the team coach also sees that of the team. 

Teams
As an admin, you can add and assemble teams. The team coach can only add users to the team, but do not delete anything in it. Only admins can create a new team. To do this, click on ‘add team’ as admin. You can then enter the name of the team and indicate which templates should be visible for this team. Then you add the members. 

Users
For the overview of the users, go to Admin-> Users. You can add users in two ways. This can be done one by one or you can import multiple users at once by means of a CSV file (ask our staff for an example of a CSV file). When adding users, assign the roles that everyone gets in the team. In addition, TruQu also offers links through which the users are loaded at once. If a person has not yet been invited, you will see the ‘send invitation’ link next to his name. Click on this and this user will receive an e-mail to activate his account.

Templates

We already put a several templates in your TruQu environment. Go to ‘Concept’ to publish these templates. If these templates do not meet your needs, you can always create your own template!

Messages
From the admin role you can send activation messages to a colleague, a team or the entire organization. You can compile the message yourself with an appropriate action, such as: asking for feedback or making up a reflection report. The selected colleagues receive this mail and can start working directly in TruQu from here. 

Insight

In insight you will find an overview of the total use per person. You have insight into all shared activities of a selected person or of the total actions in the past year. To view a specific action in detail, you can request access from the person in question.

Analyze

An analysis of a questionnaire sent by professionals can only be analyzed on the basis of ratings (think of star ratings, sliders and multiple choice questions). Open answers are not visible. In addition, these analysis options are only available from a total of 10 completed questionnaires. This is to protect the professional.
